ANY OTHER INFORMATION THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADD ABOUT YOURSELF:
What makes me most happy surfing and snowboarding with friends! I live 10mins from the beach here in Dunedin and 3 hours from the mountains. Dunedin has some of New Zealand’s best waves and is really uncrowded at times. I wear a 5/4/3 hooded wetsuit and booties in the winter (water temp 6-8 degrees in winter). I get to surf in the snow sometimes and slide down frozen sand dunes. Brrrrrr. It’s a bit like fingernails on a blackboard, it gives you shivers… worth it when you and a just a handful of mates score though! I do love surfing in boardies though…
I am also qualified snowboard instructor and I’ve completed training in Avalanche safety (NZ stage 1). I’ve worked in the snowpark at Cardrona (Wanaka, NZ) for a few winters on and off (as well as Italy for a winter).
I am pretty early in my medical career at the moment but I am enjoying it and being close to the surf and mountains keeps me sane 🙂
If you are ever in NZ and down south, hit me up for a surf (or snowboard)! firstname.lastname@example.org
